Forbes added that “the intricacies of the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement and salary cap will likely limit Lin to a contract next year that starts around $5 million whether with the Knicks or someone else.” Forbes added, “He’ll earn 80% of that as the NBA lockout trimmed the 2011-12 season to 66 games from 82”.
